AUTHORITY TO ACT ON THE BEHALF OF THE MARE OWNER

Every foaling is unique and while a mare may not have had problems foaling in the past, there are times and situations whereby something can go wrong. When things go wrong with foaling, we need to act quickly for the safety of the mare and the foal.

By signing the SG Stud Terms and Condition of Trade you, the Client, give SG Stud permission:

  • To call a Veterinarian to assist via an emergency call out to help in the delivery and health of your mare and foal.
  • To transport your mare, foal or mare and foal to the veterinary clinic to receive emergency medical care or surgery.
  • To put down your mare or foal with a Veterinarian in attendance upon their diagnosis to prevent further pain and suffering when all other options have been exhausted.

Visits to the stud to see your horse(s):

SG Stud is a working stud so Workplace Safety requires that you make an appointment to come and view your horse(s). An employee of SG Stud must accompany you to visit your horse(s) at all times. This is a Workplace Health and Safety requirement. Anyone found to be on Stud property without an escort or appointment will be asked to leave promptly.

I have read and accept the above Terms and Conditions
